Skills

Microbial ecology
Carbon and nitrogen biogeochemical cycles
Stable isotope labeling (13C, 15N)
Soil microbiology: arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), microbial inoculation and co-inoculation, soil-plant-microbe interactions

Research interests

Thesis: Study and modelling of carbon and nitrogen utilization mechanisms by soil microbial communities in terrestrial ecosystems.
My PhD research aims to characterize microbial carbon and nitrogen utilization during organic matter decomposition and to revise the formalism of the mechanistic model CANTIS.
