09 April 2015 - An international project dedicated to the simulation of greenhouse gas emission

The second meeting of the CN-MIP project, coordinated by Sylvie Recous, Research Director in the UMR FARE, was organised the 03-06 March 2015 in Fort Collins, Colorado (USA).

This international project gathers 10 partners from 6 countries worldwide, it aims at evaluating the capacity of the soil-plant models to simulate the greenhouse gas emissions, and at improving their capacity to take into account the possible attenuation options for the agriculture. The project is founded by the ANR in France and is part of the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases (GRA) and of the Joint Programming Initiative for Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI).
