FARE present at the 17th COMIFER-GEMAS conference in Metz

The 17th conference on sustainable fertilization and analysis took place on 25 and 26 November in Metz. It welcomed 240 delegates, who presented their recent work on plant nutrition, soil fertility, technical references, regulations, and good agricultural practices.

FARE presented a poster on “Quantification and characterization of residual biomass from alfalfa cultivation to estimate soil returns and simulate soil organic carbon dynamics using the AMG model” (https://hal.inrae.fr/hal-05384840), a work co-financed by LCA Luzerne de France and carried out in collaboration with the Marne Chamber of Agriculture, the DéshyOuest cooperative, and the Eco&Sols joint research unit.

FARE was also involved in another poster presenting the AMG-LAB project (https://hal.inrae.fr/hal-05384869), funded by ADEME, which aims to improve the parameterization and formalism of the AMG model for different plant production systems and low-carbon practices, based on the partnership between the AMG consortium (INRAE, Arvalis, Agro-Transfert, LDAR, URCA) and the technical institutes Idele, Terres Inovia, and IFV.Web site of the congress: https://comifer.asso.fr/evenements/prochaines-rencontres-comifer-gemas/
