New dataset available soil decomposition 700 organic residual products

A new dataset is available on soil decomposition of more than 700 organic residual products

As part of an inter-lab project coordinated by the FARE lab, incubation data of more than 700 organic residual products under controlled conditions have been collected, organized and shared on the French multidisciplinary repository Recherche Data Gouv

The data collection has been realized in the COLLECT-OR project (Collect and valorization "open science" of data of organic resources recycled in soil) financed by the AgroEcoSystem division of INRAE. It has been gathered by the EcoSys lab with the participation of the FARE, BioEcoAgro, SAS, Agroécologie et Recyclage et Risque (CIRAD) laboratories. The data include the characteristics of chemicals and biochemistry of the studied organic residual products (or exogeneous organic matter) (carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) content, biochemical fractionation such as Van Soest…) and kinetics of carbon and nitrogen mineralization in soil measured during incubations in controlled conditions. The data are available on the site data.gouv.fr:
